Barbora is a professional stylist and stager full of passion for beautiful and elegant spaces. She graduated from Heritage School of Interior Design in Portland with certifications in both interior design and staging.
Whether the client just wants to update their space, achieve that designer look or stage their home for a quick and top dollar sale, she loves to get involved. Styling and staging of occupied or vacant homes are her specialties. In addition to staging, Barbora also offers in home consultation services to home owners that live in the house while it’s being marketed. She helps them make their home more appealing to potential buyers through improvements to the property via organization, editing, proper room flow and color selection.
Her original roots are from Slovakia. She and her son travel to Europe annually to see family, which gives her an opportunity to explore other European countries rich in culture and history. These trips are quite inspirational because Barbora loves to combine many different styles. She has a history in the fashion industry, where she worked seven years as a design assistant and as part of a product development team. This experience introduced her to the world of beautiful fabric designs, textures and patterns. Although relatively new to the interior design community, Barbora has worked on styling and staging projects for her friends and family. It was during these projects she realized this was her passion and true calling, which led her to pursue her certifications through Heritage School of Interior Design. Throughout her life, she has had multiple opportunities to look at real estate through the eyes of a home buyer during which she encountered properties that were less attractive for various reasons. These experiences and her instincts of wanting to improve the condition of the properties have been one of the main factors that steered her down the staging path.
Barbora loves spending time with her son outside on a hike or a bike ride. Other things she enjoys include taking trips to the coast and Central Oregon, fitness, running, baking and visiting local wineries.
