Stockton, CA July 2, 2009 Real Estate Staging Association (RESA™) the member run Trade Organization for Professional Stagers has announced the RESA-PRO Designation and Continuing Education Program for professional real estate stagers.
To earn the RESA-PRO designation professional stagers must pass an entrance exam and an ethics course. In order to maintain the designation designees must take continuing education courses that have been approved by RESA. Courses will fall under different categories such as Staging Principles and Business Skills.
RESA is now accepting submissions for courses to be approved as part of the continuing education program. Courses may be online on in a classroom setting. Courses may be in the following subjects but not limited to: Marketing, Builders, Color
Furniture Placement, Feng Shui, Staging Design Concepts, Re-Design, How to give a presentation to Realtors, Overcoming objections, Pricing, Vacant, Organizing, Green Concepts, Building a Team, How to buy inventory and build your inventory, Storage, To Incorporate, LLC or Sole Proprietor, Data basing, Networking, How to present to homeowners, Ethics (this is a RESA Written Program) and will be a mandatory module to earn the designation.
“We are very excited about the RESA-PRO Program. This program is another way RESA is uniting training providers and creating standards and legitimacy in Real Estate Staging”, said Shell Brodnax RESA’s CEO. The designation and program will be available by August 2009.
