Nicole Hurst, President of Cole House Design, loves to transform the appearance of any house, whether it be her own, friends, family members, or new clients, and has been doing so for years.

Realizing she had an eye for colour and design, Nicole obtained her interior decorating degree after university.  She then took her knowledge and creativity, and jumped into the retail fashion industry designing store windows and merchandising displays.  After the birth of her first child, Nicole decided to take a hiatus from the design world to be a stay at home mom.  Through that time she continued to decorate and stage homes for friends and acquaintances. 

Nicole has also become a Graduate of The Staging Diva^TM Home Staging Business Training Program, created by internationally known home staging expert Debra Gould of Six Elements Inc. Debra Gould's home staging expertise is featured in CNNMoney, The Wall Street Journal, Reader's Digest and HGTV.

Nicole's expertise in home staging was evident in the last home she sold of her own.  Before the "for sale" sign could be put on the lawn, the home was sold to a very eager buyer who happened to be the first person to walk through it.  The house was completely turn-key, and it sold for $40,000 more than a similar house only four doors down had, months prior.  Nicole had taken a rather plain 1970's house and turned it into something that showed better, and was much more contemporary, than the local competition.  This was evident in testimonial left by Nicole's real estate agent.
