RESA® Spouse of the Year™

 

The RESA® Spouse of the Year™ is an award presented to the spouse of a home stager to honor them for the love and support that makes it possible for a home stager to be successful.

 

RESA® will be recognizing 2 Spouses of the Year. One in the United States and one in Canada.

Entry Fee: $25.00

 

Nomination Guidelines:

  • The category is for current RESA® member spouses. The RESA member must nominate their spouse.  Members must maintain their membership through the 2012 year.  RESA members will be able to market their spouse’s nomination status and solicit votes during phase one of the competition when RESA members are voting.
  • Spouse: Anyone in a committed relationship with a RESA® member.
  • Members with ethics complaints or disciplinary actions in the last two years are not eligible to nominate their spouses.

Nomination Disqualifications:

  • Any finalist caught breaking any of the rules may be disqualified.

Nominees will submit:

 

  • A one-page PDF describing why your spouse should be selected as the RESA Spouse of the Year™. You should include a photo of your spouse. You may include family photos. Photo editing techniques may be used to enhance the photo. Ex: Frames and drop shadows are ok. Submissions that look like magazine layouts are acceptable.  

 

The submission for the one-page PDF should include:

 

  • Examples of how your spouse is supportive to you and your business.

Submit the one-page PDF and a JPG photo of your spouse or you and your spouse together in one email as attachments to Shell@RESA-HQ.org, no later than November 15, 2011. In the subject line of the email please put your name of your category, your country, your company name and your name.  EX: RESA® Spouse of the Year™, USA or Canada, Your Company Name, Your Name.  

The entire RESA® membership will vote on the RESA® Spouse of the Year™ awards between November 20, 2011 to November 30, 2011.

 

The submission with the most votes will become the winner in their country.  We will have one RESA® 2012 Spouse of the Year™ for Canada and one for the United States. In the event of a tie, the membership will vote on those finalists to determine the winner.

 

All award winners will be announced January 31, to February 2, 2012 in Las Vegas at the RESA® Home Staging Convention.
