You Know Enough to Lead.

Apply to Become a RESA® Approved Mentor™

Now Here’s How to Get in Front of Stagers Who Need You.

If you’ve been in the staging business for a while, you’ve probably had someone reach out with questions like:

“How did you get started?”
“Can I pick your brain?”
“What would you do in this situation?”

You’ve also probably had the same questions cross your mind:

How do I actually structure mentoring other stagers?
Where do I find mentees who are serious—not just browsing?
Can I charge for my time and still feel good about it?
How do I give back to this industry in a real way?

That’s Why We Created the RESA® Mentor Match Program

The RESA® Mentor Match Program connects experienced, trusted home stagers with up-and-coming professionals who are actively looking for mentorship—not just casual advice.

It’s designed for those who want to give back and grow forward—by helping others avoid the long, lonely, expensive learning curve.

Why This is Different

The RESA® Mentor Match program puts you in front of the right people at the right time—when they’re actively looking for guidance and are ready to invest in their growth.

As a RESA® Approved Mentor™, you’ll:

  • Be part of a national network backed by the industry’s only nonprofit trade association for home stagers in North America

  • Get introduced to mentees already vetted and eager to learn

  • Be able to charge for your time and expertise (you set your own rates)

  • Operate in a structured, professional way—with tools, templates, and guidance to support you

What You’ll Actually Do as a Mentor

This isn’t a coaching program.

It’s one-on-one mentoring, where you:

  • Choose how many mentees you want (up to 5)

  • Choose how you meet (Zoom, phone, Google Meet—it’s up to you)

  • Choose your format (weekly check-ins, Q&As, strategy sessions)

  • Choose your fee (you keep 100%—we don’t touch it)

And yes—if you’re new to offering mentorship, we’ll help you get started with optional templates and session ideas.

How RESA® Helps You Succeed as a Mentor

We don’t just give you a badge and walk away. As the trade association for hone stagers we will:

  • Promote the Mentor Match program to stagers across North America

  • Handle the backend matchmaking so you’re not chasing leads

  • Provide you with access to the RESA® App for easy mentor/mentee communication

  • Let you run your mentorship the way that fits your style

You’ll also receive the RESA® Approved Mentor™ designation, which helps position you as a leader within the staging community—and builds your credibility with both mentees and agents.

Who This is Perfect For

You might be ready to apply if:

  • You’re running a stable, successful staging business

  • You’ve learned a lot (especially the hard way!) and want to help others avoid costly mistakes

  • You enjoy teaching, encouraging, and problem-solving

  • You’re looking for a meaningful way to give back to the industry while adding a new income stream
